    <description descriptionType="Abstract">Derived from IMK/IAA MIPAS/Envisat monthly mean trace gas fields using the ANCISTRUS direct inversion method (von Clarmann &amp; Grabowski, 2016, 2021), this dataset provides effective meridional and vertical transport velocities and eddy diffusion coefficients in the middle atmosphere. Effective velocities include advection and mixing effects and are not equivalent to TEM residual circulation velocities. Uncertainties are represented as standard deviations derived from the variance estimates output by ANCISTRUS.</description>
