# Thermal statistics of turbulent forced convection pipe flow for axially and azimuthally inhomogeneous thermal boundary conditions

This database features thermal statistics for fluids of Prandtl numbers Pr=0.71, 0.025 and bulk Reynolds numbers of Re=5300, 11700, 19000, 37700 for forced convection pipe flow with axially and azimuthally inhomogeneous thermal boundary conditions.

The wall heat flux in azimuthal direction is prescribed to be adiabatic on one half of the pipe and sinusoidal on the other half.
In axial direction, the wall heat flux distribution is given by a Gaussian function.

The detailed description of the numerical setup and discussion of the statistics contained in this database are given in the dissertation:
Straub. "Non-homogeneous thermal boundary conditions in low to medium Prandtl number turbulent pipe flows". Dissertation, Karlsruhe Institute of Technologie (KIT), 2020
