    <description descriptionType="Abstract">This archive contains research data presented in the manuscript "Sensitivities of Simulated Mixed-phase Arctic Multilayer Clouds to Primary and Secondary Ice Processes" with DOI: 10.5194/egusphere-2024-2988. In this study, the microphysical sensitivity of Arctic mixed-phase multilayer clouds are examined via two case studies observed during the MOSAiC campaign in September 2020. Sensitivity simulations on cloud droplet activation, primary ice, and secondary ice processes were performed. The ICON model is used to model these clouds and observational data from the MOSAiC campaign is used to constrain and evaluate the model. </description>

- R3B10_0309_0409_orig_SIP.nc : original primary ice nucleation with SIP implementation with droplet shattering and break-up collision added on top of the reference rime-splintering. Collisional break-up is parameterised by Takahashi 
- R3B10_0309_0409_INP_SIP.nc : new immersion freezing parameterisation with SIP as above 
- R3B10_0309_0409_INP_SIP_BR_scaled.nc : new immersion freezing parameterisation and SIP with a scaled down breakup (SIP) parameterisation
