The present data was collected as part of the “EUCLID” project (https://euclid.dbvis.de). Between April 3, 2020, and January 28, 2022, we administered a serial cross-sectional online survey to 26 non-probability quota samples per country (N=78,498). Each sample consisted of approximately 1,000 participants each from the United States (n=26,332), the United Kingdom (n=26,003), and Germany (n=26,163). Samples were quota-based and approximately representative of the respective national populations by gender x five age groups.

This dataset was collected as part of the “EUCLID” project (https://euclid.dbvis.de). The project was started in response to the ongoing public health emergency due to the global outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 to track: 1. Subjective health & symptoms, 2. Perceived risk & outbreak related perceptions, 3. Protection motivation & behavior, 4. Expected future developments of the outbreak.
