Dataset: Ear tag wounds in unweaned dairy calves – Data

RADAR is an online service for the archival and publication of research data resulting from completed scientific studies and projects. RADAR is operated by FIZ Karlsruhe - Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructure GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us"). As a data provider, you can use RADAR to compile research data into datasets, annotate these datasets with metadata, store them permanently and make them publicly available.

License

1. For the purposes of RADAR on the basis of your chosen license you grant us simple, temporally and spatially unlimited rights of use to the research data you have uploaded to the service. Your rights to the data are not thereby affected.
2. You will license any transferred metadata with a Creative Commons (CC0) license and thus provide its free use by the general public.
3. You release us from third party claims that could be made against us as a result of any legal or rights infringements perpetrated by you.

User Instructions

1. (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelm-Universität Bonn), has granted you permission to use RADAR. You have received the role of data provider.
2. As a data provider, you are entitled to upload research data into the RADAR repository.
3. You are responsible for the accuracy of the research data that you upload.
4. For the time being, uploading personal research data into the RADAR repository is not permitted. Such data must be anonymized before they are uploaded.
5. When archiving or publishing a dataset, you must assign a license that governs usage rights in relation to possible reuse of the dataset. RADAR offers various appropriate licenses.
6. RADAR will be provided by us to you, the data provider, at no cost.
7. Please be sure to observe the specifications of the RADAR service - outlined in the service description. These specifications clarify the features and purpose of RADAR, the tasks of the parties involved (Operators, Customers and Data Providers) as well as their related role descriptions. We apply the technical and organizational safeguards discussed in the service description to keep your data safe and reliably stored.
8. Your personal data is used exclusively for the provision of the RADAR service in accordance with Arts. 6(1) (a) and (f) GDPR (consent; the legitimate interests of the data controller in particular maintaining the operability of the service.) The data is used in order to identify RADAR users and to contact them in relation to the provision of the service. Please also read our privacy policy.
9. RADAR may only be used to archive and publish research data.
10. You must not upload any illegal content - e.g., content that is offensive, seditious, or glorifies violence - into the RADAR repository.
11. If we are made aware of violations of law relating to a dataset, we reserve the right, without consultation, to block access to this dataset and, if necessary, to delete the dataset. We also reserve the right to block your access to RADAR if you act in contravention of these user instructions.

Using RADAR third parties ("data providers") may compile research data into datasets, annotate these datasets with metadata, store them permanently and make them publicly available. Review of the content and quality of the datasets is the sole responsibility of the data provider.

1. The relationship between you ("data user") and us exists solely in relation to the download of datasets or metadata. We reserve the right to restrict the use or terminate the provision of RADAR completely at any time.
2. If you are registered as a data user or are authorised by Shibboleth, the data provider may also grant you access to archived datasets.
3. A full explanation as to how we protect your personal data is provided in our privacy policy.
4. We assume no responsibility or liability for the accuracy, or reliability of the content or whether the content is up to date, except in the case of legally mandated liability.
5. Access to RADAR as well as the ability to search and download datasets will be provided to you, the data user, without cost.
6. You must comply with the conditions of the license connected with the dataset used.
