This dataset contains data from a standardized online survey on attitudes toward and practices related to Open Educational Resources (OER). Participants included individuals involved in OE_COM projects funded under the German Federal Government’s OER Strategy as well as members of the OER Advisory Board. The study investigates the discrepancy between positive attitudes toward OER and actual publication behavior (attitude–behavior gap), as well as perceived barriers to the use and publication of OER.
The dataset provides the empirical basis for the study “Quo vadis, OER? Das Open Educational Resources-Paradoxon: Die Kluft zwischen Einstellung und Verhalten bei OER-affinen Personen” (courtesy translation: “Quo vadis, OER? The Open Educational Resources Paradox: The Gap Between Attitudes and Behavior Among OER-Affine Individuals”).
