This is the attached simulation data set of the PhD Thesis
"Scalable Data-driven Methods for Advanced Molecular-continuum Flow Simulation"
by Piet Jarmatz, Helmut-Schmidt-University (ISBN 978-3-8439-5753-3).

The content of this data set is described in the dissertation. It is referenced by the simulation configuration IDs used in the thesis, as well as by the configuration tables given in the Appendix.

Structure of this data set:

Folder "config_files": This contains for each simulation configuration, as numbered by the Appendix:

• the corresponding input files
• XML,
• YML,
• and/or INI configuration files,
• launching scripts,
• plotting scripts,
• simulation control scripts
• and/or slurm job scripts.

Folder "results": This contains for some of the simulations, as numbered by the Appendix, simulation output files, logfiles, snapshot of environment variables, job files. In order to reduce the file size of this data set by many orders of magnitude, these files are only provided where necessary or helpful, not all simulation output files for all simulation configurations are archived here. Generally, the intention is to guarantee reproducibility by providing the archived "config_files".
