This software processes dropsonde observations of the KITsonde system onboard the High Altitude Long Range aircraft HALO collected during the campaigns ASCCI 2025 and NAWDIC 2026. The software produces quality-controlled measurement data (Level 1) in different output formats (NetCDF, BUFR, CSV). The required input are Level 0 data files in CSV format, which contain the decoded raw signals (time, GPS position, meteorological variables) recorded by the receiver channels of the KITsonde system as well as meta data of the releases. More information on the usage and functionalities of the software are documented in the readme file.
